FAQ

What happens during the 90-minute assessment?

Leonard evaluates technique, movement, serve and return patterns, decision-making and point construction through controlled drills and live-ball situations. The session produces a prioritized summary explaining what to change, why it matters and the recommended next step.

Is there a difference between the junior and adult assessment?

The structure is the same. The evaluation criteria, development priorities and recommended program formats differ based on whether the player is a competitive junior or an ambitious adult.

How much does the assessment cost?

The assessment is 3,400 CZK for a 90-minute session. The fee is credited in full toward the first program period if the player continues.

Is payment required to book?

No payment is required at the time of booking. Leonard reviews every booking personally and confirms availability within 48 hours.

Where does the assessment take place?

Assessments take place in Prague. The court location is confirmed after booking.

What should I bring or prepare?

Complete the short questionnaire when booking. Bring your racket and appropriate court shoes. You may optionally upload recent match footage - full points are more useful than highlight clips.

What is the performance assessment and what do I get?

It is a 90-minute on-court session with Leonard Stakhovsky that produces a technical and tactical diagnosis, a video-supported review, three priority corrections, a recommended training format, and a written development summary you keep. The point is an objective, evidence-based read of the player's game before any program is designed.

How much does the assessment cost, and is it refundable toward training?

The assessment is 3,400 CZK. If the player continues into a program, the full fee is credited toward the first program period, so it functions as the first step of training rather than a separate cost. It is a one-time session.

How long is it and where does it take place?

It runs 90 minutes on court in Prague, and can be conducted in English, Czech, or Ukrainian. Clay or hard court can be used depending on availability. Visiting international players often book it as a standalone session during a short trip.

Do I have to do the assessment before joining a program?

Yes - it is the mandatory entry point for every program, because the plan is built from its findings. This keeps coaching evidence-based from day one, and because the fee is credited toward training, it is not an extra hurdle so much as the first session.

What are the “three priority corrections”?

They are the three highest-impact changes the assessment identifies for that specific player - the technical or tactical patterns most limiting their results - so training starts on what actually moves match performance rather than on a generic checklist. They are documented in the written summary.
