Is this adult tennis camp right for you?

The Stakhovsky Tennis Adult Camp suits club, league and returning players who can rally and want direct feedback from Leonard Stakhovsky. It is a training visit, not an all-inclusive resort holiday. You arrange your own accommodation, flights and local travel.

Use the tennis levels guide and unofficial self-check to describe your game before you enquire. Share recent match experience too; a label alone does not set your camp workload.

What does a private training block look like?

Leonard Stakhovsky uses day one at Stakhovsky Tennis to check strokes, movement and decisions in points. The assessment sets the priorities. Later sessions move from a controlled drill to live ball and match play, so the new habit is tested under pressure.

Illustrative five-day Stakhovsky Tennis block. Leonard adapts the order and hours after the assessment; this is not a fixed package.
StageFocus
Day 190-minute assessment, baseline video and a short list of priorities.
Day 2Work on the main technical issue, then test it in live points.
Day 3Serve, return or rally patterns linked to that issue.
Day 4Point play under score pressure and review of match choices.
Day 5Review the change and write the next priorities for practice at home.

A three-day visit focuses on a narrower problem. A two-week block allows a mid-point review and more repeat testing. Extra hours are not a promise of faster progress: workload must fit the player. Hitting partners and extra match play depend on availability.

How much does an adult tennis camp in Prague cost?

Stakhovsky Tennis quotes each adult camp with Leonard Stakhovsky separately. The published coaching rate starts at 1,600 CZK (≈ €65) per hour, plus court hire. The starting assessment is 3,800 CZK (≈ €155) for 90 minutes. The full assessment fee is credited toward the first program period if you continue; the written quote explains how this applies to your booking.

Ask for the total, not only an hourly rate: assessment, coaching hours, court hire and any agreed extras. Flights, hotels, transfers and meals are not included. Do not assume that a sample schedule is a bookable price package. See the current Stakhovsky Tennis fees and terms.

Private camp or group tennis holiday?

Choose Stakhovsky Tennis when your priority is private work with Leonard Stakhovsky on your own game. A group tennis holiday may fit better when you want a ready-made social group, several playing partners or a hotel package. Neither format is best for every player.

For a solo traveller, private coaching removes the need to bring a hitting partner. It does not provide a hosted social holiday. Adults over 50 or 65 should discuss current playing level and a sustainable training schedule, rather than choosing a camp by age alone. Compare formats in the adult tennis camps in Europe guide.

Planning your Prague visit

Stakhovsky Tennis uses courts at TK Spoje, Hodkovičky and CLTK in Prague. Leonard Stakhovsky confirms the actual venue, surface and available sessions for your dates. Choose accommodation after the court is agreed, rather than assuming that every session is near the city centre.

Stakhovsky Tennis provides winter coaching with Leonard Stakhovsky on indoor tennis courts in Prague. Confirm the venue, surface, dates and court fee in writing before booking travel. Read the winter training comparison if you are also considering a warm-weather destination.
